Irish Loyalty Awards – Bespoke Awards
Client Brief
The Irish Loyalty & CX Awards, sponsored by Visa, recognise and pay tribute to the brands building lasting and profitable customer relationships. This special global competition brings together the leaders in loyalty, to celebrate innovation and creativity. The awards provide a platform for loyalty initiatives to get recognised and set a new standard for customer experience. As these awards are high-profile and generate significant publicity, it was worth investing in bespoke awards. Bespoke industry awards are instantly recognisable and become coveted symbols of achievements. The awards that the winners take away are the legacy of the event and are lasting symbols of their achievements.
Our Solution
The physical awards are an important element of the awards ceremony and require advance planning. Bespoke awards are produced from scratch and the design and production process takes 3-6 months from start to finish. Gift Innovations provide a commissioning service, working with Irish designers and craftspeople to create truly unique awards. There are a variety of materials available to make bespoke awards including glass, acrylic, metal, ceramics, wood, and bamboo. Brand guidelines and brand values provide inspiration and have a big impact on the shape, style and material used in creating the awards. We also advise clients on the artwork layout and text abbreviations. Someone who is not familiar with the awards should be able to take one look at them and understand what they are for, so keep text on the awards concise and to the point.
Order Fulfilment
Once the award design and layout were agreed with the client, we approved the artwork and scheduled production with the craftsperson. We did not have all the details upfront as the judges reviewed the entries and revealed the category winners closer to the event. It’s so important to double-check the name of the award categories and the spelling of individual or company names before approving the final artwork (the details of the winners are secret safe with us too). Other practicalities were ensuring that the awards were secure and easy to present at the ceremony. Each award was carefully packed in individual branded presentation boxes, so they arrived safely to the event for the awards ceremony, and after all the celebrations, they arrived back home to the winners in one piece!
